Can I use my City Bonfires Indoors?
City Bonfires is for OUTDOOR use ONLY!

How big is City Bonfires?
City Bonfires is compact and perfectly portable for all your outdoor adventures. It is 2 x 4 inches. 

What is City Bonfires made of?
City Bonfires is made with 100% recyclable steel tins, 100% nontoxic FDA food grade soy wax, and 100% biodegradable, compostable plant-based material. 

Will the chocolate melt during shipment?
It may, especially if you live in a warmer part of the country and depending on the season. We recommend placing your packaged chocolate in the fridge for one hour before use. This will harden the chocolate.

What is the burn time for City Bonfires?
City Bonfires has a total burn time of 3 to 5 hours. 

How do I extinguish my City Bonfires?
To extinguish your City Bonfires please cover the flame with the lid.

Can I reuse my City Bonfires?
Yes! You can light your City Bonfires, extinguish the flame with the lid and then relight it as many times as you want with a total burn time of 3 to 5 hours. 

Is City Bonfires reusable or refillable? 
Our City Bonfire is not refillable, however it is reusable. You can light your City Bonfires, extinguish the flame with the lid and then relight it. It has a total burn time of 3 to 5 hours. Once the wax and briquettes are gone you may recycle the tin. 

Is this a candle? 
Please do not use City Bonfires like a candle. It should be used like a fire pit - outdoors and placed in a safe, fire proof area, like a fire pit. 

Can I place City Bonfires on a table?
Please do not place your City Bonfires directly on furniture. Place it first on a trivet (metal, stone, brick) and not directly on a table. Never place it on glass, wood, cork, or other flammable surfaces. 

Is this made in the USA? 
YES! Our City Bonfires are handmade in Maryland with American materials by 2 Dads whose jobs were impacted by the pandemic. 

Can you eat over the flame? 
Yes, it is safe to cook over our City Bonfire. The soy wax used in the City Bonfires is FDA food grade recycled soy wax. There is no fragrance to the City Bonfires and it is great for making s'mores. Please burn your City Bonfires for 20 minutes or until the smoke stops, then you can start roasting your marshmallows. You can roast them to the side for ambient heat. 

Can I bring City Bonfires on a plane? 
Please consult TSA regulations.
