I love these citronella candles. I know they are more expensive than other options, but they keep the bugs away and stay lit in breezy weather. I thought I would try another name brand 3-wick citronella candle, but the breeze kept blowing it out. I will always keep a supply on hand so we never run out.
I was skeptical at first as I've tried so many other candles to counter the mosquitoes nightmare. So far this product has not disappointed, it's easy on the scent as far as not inhaling the liquids that are used and the design is sleek! I would buy again.
I love the regular City Bonfire candles and have been a repeat customer. When I saw the Outdoor candles, I had to give they a try! Glad I did. They smell wonderful, light easily and are perfect for sitting on my back porch.
Love it … ordered more for gifts
Awesome candles TY 🤘🏻
City Bonfires are perfect for a porch/deck fire. They are easy to light and once the flames are established, can withstand wind. This is very important when living in the Midwest. We also ordered the citronella candles; however, we haven't tried those out yet. I love the fact that everything is recyclable. Customer service is fantastic. We originally ordered 10 bonfires and 5 citronella candles; however, we received 15 bonfires. Customer Service promptly responded to the inquiry and once they received a picture of our order they processed a new order for the 5 citronella candles. This was done on July 4th, which was amazing. Will definitely continue ordering from this company.
Works great. Love having a handy fire and the benefit of keeping mosquitoes away!!
Nothing better than winding down a long day with a mini bonfire on the back porch! From spring thru fall we spend an hour or so outside just chilling with a drink and some tunes and a City Bonfire. And we give them for bdays, graduation, etc. My college kids love them! We all do!
Love this candle! Gives enough scent to keeps bugs away! I’ll be buying more :)
THE BEST
For me, I probably won’t order again bc they use usps and I don’t get mail delivered to my house. I have to go to the post office to oick it up.
I haven’t used them yet.
Looks as described and will use in the spring.
Repeat customer and use all the bonfires!
We love these candles at our cabin. We have tried many & these really work to keep the bugs away.
Just received the candle & have only used it once but it smells great & wasn’t smoky like some candles. Wick was thick & took a little for it to light (I used an electric lighter) but it stayed on and burned evenly. The candle came with the fire pit we purchased. Love both items. Will purchase again.

This is the best outdoor candle I have found to keep the pesky black flies and mosquitos away. When we light it, the bugs disappear!!

Gift for my brother. He was very pleased with the arrival.
These are the best citronella candles I’ve ever used. Great burn with consistent melting.
I love the smell and can’t wait to use them!
I like this citronella candle because the flame does not blow out in the breeze. They are more expensive than other brands I saw online, but our experience with the durability of the flame led us to buy a 5-pack when our 2-pack burned out.
THEY WORK EXCELLENT AND VERY LONG LASTING BEST OF BOTH WORLDS 3rd SEASON ON USING THEM
Finally a citronella candle that the wick dose not disappear into the wax after a few uses and stays lit in a breeze.
We love the outdoor candles. Highly recommend trying. You will not be disappointed.
Just love them!
These are the best!! Never mind the cheap ones from cheap stores that don’t work. These candles really repel the bugs!! Just try them and see
The citronella City Bonfires were very effective on our patio this summer and the scent is very subtle, not at all overpowering like some citronella candles can be.
Even in SW Florida it does a good job battling the aerial invaders!
i have a City Bonfire candle, which i really like and when i saw they had a citronella candle, i purchased it. smells great and it burns well with the sturdy wood wick. looks nice, too!
The ordering and tracking services were top notch! Loved the way you kept us informed - just the kind of detail I like. The product is terrific - kudos!
The best citronella candles I’ve bought! Well worth it! Great service! I’m happy to support a small business too! Made in America! Love it!
Very effective.
Incredible flame and scent!
Best citronella candle I’ve ever had! It burns evenly and slowly and the scent is great at deterring mosquitos. I love the extra large wick. Thank you for making a great product from the USA .
easy to light, smells good, and long lasting. helps keep bugs away.
We used this Citron for my friends cook out. She has a big backyard and this helped immensely.
This was a birthday gift for my dad put of state. He absolutely loved them!! Would just add that an option for a note line would be nice. To say happy birthday, father's day etc..
Love the scent and even with a breeze it stays lit. Highly recommend
